My worst job (for the moment... hihihihihihi)
I said "for the moment" because I haven't got a permanent job yet. So my worst job was when I worked as teleseller at Bordeaux in France, three years ago. It was very stressful and I can't work under the pressure. First of all, I should sell a insurance death and second of all I was in customer service of insurance's Carrefour. So for the both, I should persuade people to buy or to keep the insurance because 'they need it'. And we had target to meet. We were cramped and we can't really speak with your colleagues because you had to do just one thing : calling. When a call was finished, a other one began and so on... The money was the legal minimum, and could be better if you sold many insurances. So I had never had more like the minimum, I was a very seller of insurance death on phone! Anyway, I stayed one year in this company...

Ha ha. I once worked trying to do telesales - and I was so rubbish at it and hated it so much that I quit after the first day!
ReplyDeleteI almost preferred working on building sites!!
Selling LIFE INSURANCE must've been really hard work. COLD CALLING is horrible, I know.
And doing all that just to earn the MINIMUM LEGAL WAGE sucks!
I'm impressed you managed to stay one year. It shows that you're able to put up with bad situations if you have to. It's a good thing, I think. Shows character.
Thanks for taking the time to write, anyway.
